Assalamu Alaikum! Get to Know Me

Hello, my name is Ruqayyah Suleiman Kana, a 20-year-old student at Federal University Lafia. I am a lover of creativity, passion, and purpose, and I find joy in transforming simple things into something extraordinary.

My creative journey began with just a pencil and paper making art that speaks from the heart. Over time, I discovered my love for crafting and recycling materials, giving them a second life as beautiful, meaningful pieces. Growing up, I found immense joy in gifting my handmade creations to friends and loved ones on their special days. Witnessing the happiness and excitement on their faces has always been one of my greatest motivations.

I never imagined I would fully embrace the creative world, but Alhamdulillah, here I am, loving every step of the way. Creativity has become my refuge a way to unwind after a long day and to breathe life into my ideas. It’s my way of making the ordinary magical, and for that, I am truly grateful.

As an introvert, I deeply value my peace and personal space. I try my best to avoid unnecessary drama and focus on what truly matters my faith, my personal growth, and the relationships I cherish. My faith is central to everything I do, and I strive every day to live a life pleasing to Allah. May He continue to guide me and make it easy for us all, Aameen.

One of my greatest joys is making others happy. Whether it’s through a carefully crafted piece of art or a small act of kindness, I believe in spreading positivity wherever I can. Sometimes, I feel like I’m not doing enough or creating as much as I should. But over time, I’ve learned that slowing down is just as important as pushing forward. It’s not always about quantity but the heart and intention behind what you do.

Creating art isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a divine gift that I treasure. Although I haven’t monetized it yet, I find immense fulfillment in seeing others smile because of my work. It reminds me that not everything in life needs to revolve around material gains. In a world where we’re constantly consumed by the pursuit of money and survival, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly enriches our souls creativity, intellectuality, and the joy of simply creating for the sake of it.

I believe it’s essential to strike a balance. Yes, we need to survive and fulfill our responsibilities, but we shouldn’t let that overshadow the beauty of living a meaningful, creative life. Reserve a part of your mind and heart for things that aren’t tied to financial gain, and you’ll find a deeper sense of peace and purpose.

May Allah ease our affairs and guide us toward a life of balance, creativity, and fulfillment. Ameen.
